Dr. Alex Gold is originally from Oakland, CA, and is excited to be practicing veterinary medicine in the Bay Area. Dr. Gold completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Whitman College in 2014 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2020.
She remained at Colorado State University to complete a small animal rotating internship, where she discovered her passion for emergency medicine. For the last several years, Dr. Gold has worked as an emergency veterinarian at ER/specialty practices in both Colorado and California.
Dr. Gold’s professional interests include toxicities, sepsis, and metabolic emergencies. In her free time, Dr. Gold enjoys traveling, long-distance running, and hiking with her pack of dogs.
